DAY 1: - DEPART CANADA
Board your international flight to Cairo and begin your journey back
in time to this charming, ancient land.
DAY 2: - CAIRO
Arrival in the Land of the Pharaohs. At Cairo International
airport you will be welcomed and assisted through immigration
and customs by our representative, then escorted to
your hotel.
DAY 3: - CAIRO, LUXOR (OPTIONAL SOUND & LIGHT SHOW
KARNAK
Morning flight to Luxor. Upon arrival you will be met
and escorted to your cruise ship where you will spend
the next 7 nights / 8 days. Accommodations aboard your
cruise ship will consist of outside Jr. suite cabin
with private facilities. Visit the West Bank necropolis
including the Valley of the Kings, the funerary temple
of Queen Hatshipsut at Deir El Bahari and the Colossi
of Memnon, evening; optional Sound & Light Show at the
Karnak Temple), overnight in Luxor.
DAY 4: - LUXOR, EDFU
Early morning sailing, passing through the Esna Lock
and continue sailing for the remainder of the day towards
Edfu. Tonight a very special costume party, Egyptian
and Pharaonic style "gallabeya party", overnight in
Edfu.
DAY 5: MON - EDFU, KOM OMBO, ASWAN
Travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus,
the falcon-god, considered the best-preserved temple
in Ancient Egypt and the second largest after the Temple
of Karnak. Sail to Kom Ombo where you will visit the
Ptolemaic Temple of Sobek & Haroeries. Then sail to
Aswan and overnight.
DAY 6: - ASWAN (OPTIONAL SOUND & LIGHT SHOW PHILAE
Visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries with the
Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae. Sail on
board a felucca, a typical Egyptian sailboat, and view
Kitchener's Botanical Garden and the Aga Khan Mausoleum,
evening; optional Sound & Light Show at the Philae Temple),
overnight in Aswan.
DAY 7: - ASWAN, KOM OMBO, EDFU (OPTIONAL ABU SIMBEL
TOUR
Morning free at leisure (or you may participate in
an optional tour to Abu Simbel visit the colossal Temple
of Ramses II and the temple of his beloved Queen Nefertari,
both temples carved out of a hillside beside the Nile
in the 13th century BC), afternoon sail to Kom Ombo,
then on to Edfu.
DAY 8: - EDFU, LUXOR
Sail to Esna, day is free at your
leisure; you may enjoy the facilities of your luxury
Cruise, swimming pool, overnight in Luxor.
DAY 9: - LUXOR, DENDARAH
Early morning breakfast, then drive to Qena to visit
Dendarah, one of the most beautiful complexes dedicated
to Hathor, goddess of life and fertility; back to Luxor.
In the early evening, visit to the temple of Luxor,
overnight in Luxor.
DAY 10: - LUXOR, CAIRO (OPTIONAL HALF DAY CAIRO TOUR)
Breakfast on board your cruise ship, disembarkation
and visit Karnak Temple, a centuries-old city of pylons,
hypostyle halls, statues, shrines and obelisks. Transfer
to Luxor airport for your flight to Cairo. Arrival and
transfer to your hotel and balance of day at leisure
(or you can take an optional tour to the ruins of the
city of Memphis and the necropolis of Sakkara site of
the Step Pyramid of Zoser.
DAY 11: - CAIRO, CITY, PYRAMIDS TOUR
Morning visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities
which includes the world's largest collection of Pharaonic
artifacts and the treasures of Tutankhamen's tomb. Then
drive to Old Cairo to visit Al Moallaka Church (Hanging
Church) and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Stop for lunch, afternoon
visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic
Sphinx, then proceed to Khan El Khalili, the world's
largest 13th century covered oriental bazaar, overnight
in Cairo.
DAY 12: - CAIRO, (OPTIONAL FULL DAY ALEXANDRIA
Free day for shopping, sightseeing or simply wandering
through the city's fascinating streets and byways. (Optional
over day excursion to Alexandria, by private car accompanied
by an English-speaking Egyptologist: visit the Catacombs
of Kom El Shugafa, the Fortress of Qait Bay, the Greco-Roman
Museum, Abu El Abbas Mosque and Alexandria Library "Bibliotheca
Alexandrina".
DAY 13: - DEPARTURE FROM CAIRO
After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International
Airport for your departure flight To Canada.

Start your day with a guided tour of the Egyptian Museum

the treasures of king Tutankhamen's tomb. Drive to Old
Cairo, where early Judaism and Christianity flourished
in Egypt. Visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue and Saint Sergius
Church. After lunch, drive to the Citadel of Saladin
and visit Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. Enjoy a walking
tour of the largest 13th century covered oriental market,
Khan El Khalili Bazaar, dinner and overnight at hotel
DAY 4: - CAIRO, SHARM EL
SHEIKH
Morning flight to Sharm . Upon arrival to Sharm airport,
your will be transferred by your hotel shuttle bus to
your hotel, to enjoy the beaches of Sharm El Sheikh.
DAY 5: SHARM EL SHEIKH
A day of sun and sea to plan as you like. (optional)
diving tour in Ras Mohammed underwater nature reserve
or sign up for an optional trek to a desert Bedouin
Camp.
DAY 6: SHARM EL SHEIKH
A free day to enjoy the beaches of Sharm El Sheikh.
DAY 7: SHARM, CAIRO
Breakfast, and transfer by you hotel shuttle bus to
the airport for your flight back to Cairo. overnight
in Cairo
DAY 8: - CAIRO
After breakfast, a scenic drive will take you to the
Pyramids & Sphinx of Giza, which have stood for the
last 5000 years. Complete your visit at Giza with a
tour of the Solar Boat Museum. After lunch, continue
to the ancient city of Memphis, the first capital of
United Upper and Lower Egypt, then visit Sakkara, site

halls, colossal statues, shrines and obelisks. Disembarkation
and transfer to Luxor airport directed to Hurghada Upon
arrival to Hurghada airport, your will be transferred
to your hotel by the hotel's shuttle bus.
DAY 8: - HURGHADA
Breakfast and a day at leisure for swimming, diving
or just relaxing by the beach.
DAY 9: HURGHADA
Enjoy the beautiful beach of Hurghada, or you may want
to sign for an optional tour from the front desk of
your hotel.
DAY 10: HURGHADA, CAIRO
Breakfast and transfer to Hurghada airport by your
hotel's shuttle bus for your flight back to Cairo, overnight
